Visitor Information Centre volunteers play an important role as ambassadors for Hinchinbrook Shire and volunteering presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the local community and be at the forefront of the tourism activity in the region!

New volunteers are always welcome to join our enthusiastic, fun and friendly team. Volunteering provides a great opportunity to share local knowledge and help visitors to make the most of their stay.

The TYTO Wetlands Visitor Information Centre is open 7 days per week and only closes for Christmas Day, so volunteers are vital in keeping the centre open.  The typical volunteer's shift is from Monday to Friday (9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm) and on weekends/public holidays (9am to 12:30pm or 12:30pm to 4pm).  If you're interested in joining our wonderful group of volunteers,  please call into the Information Centre or download and return the forms below.

Come and meet some fantastic visitors, be a part of a wonderful team and share our beautiful part of the world - Hinchinbrook Shire!
